The Filthy Heathens are a nationally touring rock / country rock outfit based in Dayton OH. They perform a 2 hour, high energy set of their own original music, mixed with well known southern rock and country covers. Their set is lively and upbeat. Fans of country to metal will find something to love with TFH.
And, despite their name, they're really great guys.

"The Filthy Heathens restored my faith in live music"
"A modern day rock and roll revival. The Filthy Heathens fill the hole left by the loss of The Steelwoods. Their live performance is second to none. Pure energy!"
Wow. Just wow! I haven't been blown away by an opening act in year. You guys F'n ROCK!!
"Their whole show is a Gimmick. They won't be around long"
Shortly after Ikerd and his band ended their set, The Filthy Heathens, who were so gracious to let each artist in need use their kit, began to play, and I gotta be honest—I wasn’t sure what to expect. I had an image in my mind of them as a good-time, fun-loving party kind of band but having never seen them live, I wasn’t sure just what I’d see. What I saw was a hot damn mess, in the filthiest fun way that one could be! Between their own tunes (check out their debut EP Etheridge) and some awesome hard rock covers, the Heathens lived up to their name and had fans already rockin’ out and rockin’ hard in the unforgiving afternoon sun, whereas by 12/1 most days campers are still trying to come alive again—but the Heathens had everyone’s eyes wide open watching their antics! That’s one of the highlights of the festival—organizer Dustin Kennedy (kindly) demands that attendees give the openers the same respect and attention that they give the headliners, but the Heathens commanded it themselves. From boot-scootin’ all over the stage, headbanging on a hay bale, losing shirts somewhere in the middle, and just cuttin’ loose right along with the crowd, The Filthy Heathens’ set was an omen of good things to come for Day 2!
